We are on the lookout for talented C++ developers to join our Electronic Equities team and work on a leading ultra-low latency algorithmic trading platform. Our platform is built on top of the best available hardware and network solutions, and we use state-of-the-art software technologies to achieve the top performance possible.

As a part of a global joined IT/business team, you will be responsible for the development of new Algo models, Algo framework, market data distribution, and ultra-low latency exchange connectors. You will also work with global engineering, business, and support teams to deliver better platform and services to our clients.

The position is Lisbon-based, but you will work with colleagues in all major office locations globally.

Key Responsibilities:

— Software development of eTrading platform modules, components, and utilities

— Working with global engineering, business, and support teams to deliver better platform and services to our clients

— Be responsible for the platform including dev support, CI/CD improvements, bug fixing

— Innovation is expected as much of the work is ‘greenfield’

Experience, Qualifications & Competencies:

— Hands-on experience in developing C++ software components using modern development practices and high level of processes automation

— Understanding of design & architecture principles, common data structures, and algorithms complexity

— Ability to work as a part of a globally distributed team

Skills:

— Recent C++ (any of 11/14/17/20)

— Linux, gcc, gdb

— OO Design

— Boost, STL

— Good written and spoken English

Additional skills as a plus:

— Expert in C++ including multithreading, work with memory, network stack tuned for performance

— Expert in Unix scripts, bash, python

— Expert in FIX protocol or other Fin-tech protocols

— Java/C# knowledge.
