Key Responsibilities:

— Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Supabase

— Develop and maintain Edge functions APIs

— Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

— Optimize and tune database performance to ensure high performance and responsiveness.

— Ensure the security and integrity of the application and its data.

— Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

— Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the backend architecture.

— Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions.

— Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

— 2+ years experience working with backend: Node.js, Nest.js

— Proven experience as a backend developer, specifically with Supabase and PostgreSQL.

— Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.

— Experience with SQL and database schema design.

— Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.

— Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.

— Understanding of server-side security (RLS) and data protection measures.

— Experience with cloud services and deployment strategies.

— Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

— Strong communication and teamwork skills.

— Able to work effectively under schedule pressure to fix bugs, review code, write, test new code, and diagnose production issues.
