qd.app: Revolutionary app designed to streamline everyday routine in Qatar

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will be a part of new Car Marketplace team in qd.app. You will join one of the freshly established product team at the very beginning of our journey as we’re building a new platform from scratch.

Your main responsibilities will include:

— Work closely with developers, designers, analysts, and managers in a Scrum team.

— Test current products and identify deficiencies.

— Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs.

— Suggest solutions to identify product problems.

— Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.

— Plan, create, and manage testing documentation - checklists, test cases, etc.

— Collaborate with the Test Automation team to ensure sufficient test coverage

— Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution.

— In-depth understanding of the full product development life cycle.

— Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Requirements

— 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer

— Experience with testing Android and iOS mobile applications, and APIs

— Rich experience in functional testing

— Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

— Experience with a variety of different testing techniques

— Experience with software QA tools and processes

— Working knowledge of the general client-server architecture

— Deep understanding of QA processes, tools, and techniques

— Critical thinker, with problem-solving skills

— Good time-management skills

— Great interpersonal and communication skills

— English lvl B1+ - read project documentation, write test documentation, understand spoken English
